treats plushtrap like his kid. his. kid who bites him like a rabid animal. it’s funny cuz plush likes sunny far more and fred’s just like wtfff cuz he wants to be close to it. plushtrap only hates him cause it somehow knows about his affiliation with spiritual beings. like the nightmares.
he works for omc, was approached by shadow bonnie in a dream and was taken to hell to meet omc. he was told that there’s no choice but to work for him. marionette confided in him once before, and talked to him about the encounter. since she works for omc as well. fredbear is just a little relieved to find out he’s not alone in this. only a little.
features of working for the red gator are, being fully aware of the spiritual beings around you all while able to interact with them, like the nightmares, shadows, children’s spirits etc. and being informed of the plans for the future.
the bite was something on purpose. omc forced him to do it, told him that if that the nightmares don’t succeed in frightening michael, the bite is something he’ll have to do. fredbear still regrets it to this day.
throughout most of the franchise, he’s been in hell discussing the future with omc. watching the different locations and analyzing things to plan for what actions to take
once he joins everyone in heaven and reunites with sunny, there’s nothing but a life full of happiness ahead.
